Sidney And Greater Area Fund
Transforming dreams into reality
The Sidney And Greater Area Fund is dedicated to progress and long-term prosperity. A volunteer Fund Advisory Committee works actively to increase charitable giving and award grants to local worthy causes and projects that are addressing emerging needs and future opportunities in our community.
IT’S A CHALLENGE, AND YOU’RE INVITED.
We have been challenged by the Sidney Donor Advised Fund to raise $250,000 locally by the end of December 2025, to receive a grant of ONE MILLION DOLLARS from the Sidney Donor Advised Fund.
Our criteria: 200 donors, 7 planned gifts (a planned gift is a future gift – when someone passes on, SAGA is left in their will). This challenge grant was made by the Sidney Donor Advised Fund.
Your Impact Matters

Five to Thrive
Consider following the Nebraska Community Foundation’s suggestion to allocate 5% of your estate to a cause you care about. Your support can drive profound change.
Gifts from IRA
Leave a legacy through your IRA contributions. It’s a meaningful way to support our community for years to come.
